David
has been a member of the Salt Grass Trail since 1980 and has served in many
positions since that time, including Campsite Scout - 1984-87,
Livestock Boss - 1992-1996, Assistant Trail Boss - 1992-1996,
Trail Boss - 1997-99, and Chairman of the Executive Committee
- 2000-02. David rode with Wagon 21, "Rounders", for ten
years before rebuilding Wagon 6, "Houston Farm & Ranch Club",
and riding with them for 5 years. He and his wife, Brenda Carter, currently
ride with Wagon 5, "Circle S". David is a heavy equipment operator
for Fort Bend County Roads and Bridges. He has been committeeman and Life
Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for 18 years.
