Philip began riding the Salt Grass in 1979 with the Brazos River Riders and currently serves as their President and Assistant Wagon Boss. He, his wife Doyleen, daughter and son-in-law (Phyllis and Scott Hinze) and grandsons (Hunter and Heath) are all members of the association. Philip is an owner of Mark III out of Sealy, Texas.
